I was fortunate enough to get some pleasant and quality messages but there were others who downright pissed me off. A particular man had suppressed his criminal records and another one turned out to be at least 6 years older than he had announced himself to be in his profile. Overall this site generated good number of responses for me though. By the time I was interacting with the fourth date, my luck turned for the better. I literally fell over for Derek and he for me. It was an instant hit.  But having dated each other for about 7 months, the relationship abruptly came to an end because he said the prospect of a long term commitment stifled him. Surprise of surprise, the man came back to me after more than a year. But this was a mistake because the commitment phobia made him slink away again in less than 3 months. I have sworn not to take him back even he begs me for it.

Nevertheless, I am quite happy with my online dating experience because of some really nice dates that I met and then thoroughly enjoyed in the virtual world. So it is no wonder that I have become sort of online dating freak.
